Murdoch Uni event

Coinciding with the national homo May action to push for same-sex marriage, Murdoch University has incorporated the issue of Same Sex Marriage into its human biological unit: Introduction to the Human Body BMS101. On Friday May 14 from 3.30-5.30pm there will be a forum available to the public on same-sex marriage. Speaking will be two Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex (GLBTI) speakers: Shane Bowra (Families for Freedom/Socialist Alternative) and Brian Greig (former Democrats Senator)

Speaking will also be: Rev Peter Abetz (MLA for Southern River) and Fr Joe Parkinson (director LJ Goody Bioethics Centre)

Also speaking will by Sheikh Feizel Chothia (nominee for the Murdoch Uni Muslim Student’s Assocation). Brenda McGivern, Associate Prof in Law, UWA will be chairing the forum.
