Human Trafficking

The Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Human has been formed which aims to fight against human trafficking. The website states that human trafficking is one of the evils of the world and an affront to God’s dream of ‘abundance of life for all” as expressed in John 10:10. It says that 27 million people are in slavery around the world.

A group called “Stop the Traffik” is calling for the UN’s Palermo Protocol to be reviewed to ensure that trafficking is prevented and suppressed.
