Engaging Young People in Aged Care Boards

A State Government funded young leaders program has been made available to train and encourage young people to take up positions on aged care boards. This program is hosted in partnership with three aged care organisations – Southcare, Mercycare and Baptistcare.  It is a pioneering program to encourage and support more young people to consider aged care Boards as an option for volunteering in their community. It is open to young people aged 18 – 35 years old.  The program runs from February – June 2013 with weekly workshops (after work hours) plus a weekend retreat.  You must commit to attending all sessions.

An information session is planned for Nov 24. For details and to rsvp click here.
