Perth Rally for Life

The 15th Perth Rally for Life will be held tonight Tues 21 May starting at 7pm in the lawn area adjacent to Parliament House and facing Hay Street with a prayer service. (You  may wish to bring a blanket or folding chair to sit on). This will be followed by a short walk up the hill to Parliament House around 8pm where the rally will be met by prolife MPs who need encouragement to continue the fight for the defence of human life. The event is organised by the Coalition for the Defence of Human Life. Last year an estimated 800 people attended the rally.

Action: The CDHL is seeking funds to support its work. Dr Ted Baehr Perth visit May 22 to May 27

Thursday 23 May, 6.30pm: Dr Ted Baehr from movieguide.org will address the 3rd speakers forum of the Dawson Society for Philiosophy and Culture. He will speak on “Virtue in an age of global entertainment: We’re not in Kansas or Kiev anymore.” It will be held at Rosie O’Grady, James St, Northbridge, starting at 6.30pm. Dinner costs $25. Friday 24 May, 6pm: Dr Ted Baehr will speak on “Understanding the Mass Media’s Influence on Today’s Culture”. National Day of Thanksgiving

Cabinet meets in Thornlie

The Prime Minister and her cabinet will be meeting at a public forum on Wed 27 March from 6-7pm. The forum is open to anyone who wants to attend, not just residents of Thornlie. The forum gives people the opportunity to ask questions of the cabinet that are on their mind.
